DESCRIPTION:Gender & Sexual Diversity Training Module 1:\n\nFri. Nov. 4\, 
 12 - 1pm\n\nDuring Inclusion Week (October 31st – November 4th\, 
 2022)\n\n \n\nModule 1 of the Gender and Sexual Diversity training will 
 provide participants with current information and vocabularly around gender 
 and sexual diversity. Through videos\, activities\, and shared 
 information\, participants will develop an understanding of the complexity 
 of identities that people hold and consider how to be an advocate for those 
 different from themselves.\n\nThis presentation is brought to you by the 
 Academic Success Centre (ASC) Diversity team and the Centre for 
 International Education and Global Partnerships (CIEGP).\n\nNote: This 
 training has been developed for students and staff and faculty are also 
 welcome to attend.\n\n\n	\n		\n			\n			\n\n			Lauren Dominici works with 
 students and staff at RRC Polytech to gain knowledge and competencies 
 related to achieving inclusion and equity within our communities. Her 
 experience working alongside the linguistically and culturally diverse 
 youth provided the opportunity to learn the barriers that many students 
 face and then worked toward solutions that created a more welcoming and 
 inclusive school environment for all students.\n			\n		\n		\n			\n
